Education, the fundamental element of human civilization as we know it. Though there is something wrong with it, nowadays we have lost some very important aspects of it. We focus on the specialization and training for the needs of the market or the burden and responsibilities of adult life, we have lost though the essence of life and humanitarian aspects. Education is not only a preparation for the adulthood and working life but is about (it should be about) the quality of living, knowing and understanding of our inner world as the outside. How to live in cooperation and harmony with ourselves, body and soul. How to appreciate us and others, our failures and our triumphs. In brief, the importance of existence itself!

In the school called “Laboratory of Theatre Pedagogy and Drama Play” you may learn how to teach not only knowledge but also morals and ideals. Teach through Arts and especially Theatre. How body and soul can come together and serve us and others for a higher purpose. This workshop will be a representation of the context of the school, the methods and procedures but also an experiential journey to self-knowledge.

Within the course we will address topics such as:

• Pedagogy
• Art
• Psychology
• Social awareness
• Philosophy
