Workshop: Sketchnoting
Since our time at school and/or our work life, we receive a lot of information: in classes, meetings, conferences, TV, YouTube…
Sometimes, we write everything that we hear or we take notes, and let’s be honest: it’s hard to read ourselves: we have written quickly or it missed some words. Some other times, we can record with camera or microphone and listen/watch it again and again to try to take some notes or we are lazy and… We recorded and that’s it or we ask to our colleagues. BUT there is a solution to stop to ask to your colleagues and to write so fast… The drawing!
You can say: “I don’t know to draw…” Me neither! And I’m not Leonard de Vinci, Picasso, Van Gogh or other painters.
Probably you are wondering “But… What is the link with the illustration (comic) and the sketchnoting?” Look the drawing and ask to yourself: What do I understand? And why? We will talk again about that during the workshop!
The sketchnoting is a method to represent a discussion, meetings, presentation of work, with drawings. Sometimes, a picture is better than words. Thanks to it, we will see some templates, type of drawings and how we can deliver a message with these drawings.
