Volunteering at schools

Volunteering at schools is a project of education and training of children and youth to volunteer, which involves primary and secondary schools in volunteering through various volunteer programs and projects.

In carrying out volunteering activities, students acquire new skills and experience, meet new people, places or cultures, are often confronted with social problems and challenges, but also with diversity, differences, other living conditions or ways of life. These aspects of volunteering represent important benefits for the professional and personal development of young people.

Volunteering strengthens self-confidence, brings new stimuli and motivation to life, involves groups that may feel on the fringes of society or social interest. Volunteers gain a sense of the importance, meaningfulness and value of their own work, donated time and effort.
